Martha Quinn (first person in my spank bank) just plugged my band on Sirius radio. Now I can't wait to go home and spank it to Martha again for old time sake.

I always thought she was one of the girls in the J.Geil's "Centerfold" video, she was a dead-ringer for that girl.

Loved me some Nina Blackwood, too. Doesn't she have a show on Sirius also?

Nina was already kinda scary by the later 80s... met her at an industry party - unrecognizable - and the chatter behind her back was along the lines of 'who is that loud goofy lady who keeps namedropping?'

A lot of Los Angeles radio DJs from my youth are now on satellite. I love it!

BTW, congrats on the plug!

Wait... you're old enough to have a spank bank for Martha Quinn? After quickly doing some math in my head, I just had a vision of a handful of teenage girls throwing up in disgust.

BTW, I was partial to Randy of the Redwoods. [more teen disgust..]

Oh yeah.... skidrawk, that's a totally cool story. I was a bit younger at that time (10-ish or so), but I remember watching her and thinking she was the coolest person in the world. Well, at very least, the absolute coolest person in the US at the time. If I heard my band mentioned by her today, I'd be totally on Cloud Nine, too! Thanks for sharing!
