The Marvelous Wonderfuls

So I've been seeing a lot of band name threads lately and I have to say. I think our newest project takes at least a slice of the cake. We had a first show tonight and it was solid. Not any of our first shows in general, but first as this band. And I have to say. It was marvelous. It was wonderful. Enter. The Marvelous Wonderfuls. . What you got.

I play with two different projects, neither one really does any gigs. we're just a bunch of old farts playing around. But the first of these two groups is notorious for playing songs quite differently from the originals they may be covering. and we also play the songs differently each time, even our originals. Sometimes this leads to some fantastic jams but quite often it becomes a serious trainwreck.
One night we decided to name our little group because a friend asked us to play at a party. We joked about how reckless we are and how no one rendition sounds the same thus the name
WRECKLESS WRENDITION our credo: Where no song is good enough to play it the same way twice.
But I do like that Marvelous Wonderfuls name.

That's a great name , certainly better than "The Lovin' Spoonful"
which was totally misleading.

I play in a band called Buffalo buffalo buffalo, or Buffalo buffalo whenever just two of us can make it out, or Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo... whenever we have guest musicians. Either way it's grammatically correct.

Murder Playground. we were a grunge band. Which we later renamed No Arrow. We joked about throwing "The" in the names because at the time our local scene had a lot of bands that started with "The".

The Murder Playgrounds
The No Arrows
