Big finale

An alternate way to get a song out of your head is to give it a big finale or live rock ending.

Not sure how that would work with I'm a Little Teapot though.

The best way to get a song out of your head is to try to figure out how to play it from your head not a cd.. the next thing you know your mind will have screwed the song up so bad you will be whistling show tunes or something.

Sing it at the top of you lungs. You've got the music in you & you've got to get it out.

+1. It works very well for me to. The bigger the finale the better. Queen like endings work very well.

my band does that song live sometimes

it rocks so hard 'cause we really thrash it up

edit - we even introduce similarly " We just wrote this song five minutes before the gig, it's Master Exploder "

Think about Zeppelin's "Kashmir".

No song can resist it.

if you want to get a song out of your head just listen to it on your ipod or stereo once, and after that its gone.

I once had "London Calling" stuck in my head for two days. I wouldn't recomend it.

Try listening to Peter Bröztmann's Machine Gun. guaranteed to shift those lingering audio odours.
