Misheard song titles at a jam

I am wondering if this is a common experience for folks. Sometimes at a jam I have trouble hearing the song they are calling out - especially if I have up there for a while. It happened again last night and I thought I have the beginnings of a list:

1. "Kansas City" - It was a blues jam, but the guitarist kept calling out country tunes, so when he said "Kansas City" I was happy that he went with a more typical tune. Then he starts playing and I realize it is "Can't You See"

2. "H.O." - I had no idea, I couldn't think of any songs it might be, and then thought it was an inside joke between the two guitarists and that I'd be able to pick it up. It was "Hey Joe"

Anyone else have this kind of thing happen?

"HUH? WHA'?"

Too late for earplugs?

Sorry. Couldn't help myself. Tinnitus sufferer from the early 70s. I can be quite mad, sometimes.

We narrowly missed a miscommunication involving "Roadhouse Blues" and "Red House."

...HEY WAIT! A medley!!!

Actually, that's a very good point. I just read through some of the posts on ear plugs and ordered some. My ears do ring a bit when I get home, I don't want to make it any worse.

"Lady Bird" instead of "Lazy Bird"
"So What" Instead of "Solar"
"Sandu" instead of "Satin Doll"
