Man, Victoria has been absolutely ripe with great Craigslist nonsense in the Muscian's section lately.. I have to assume this is a joke, but who knows?

Looking for bandmates, no scallywags. (Victoria)
I'm looking for some amazing musicians to form a group more capable than just myself alone. I've done the solo thing, made a few albums but the music ended up just a little too perfect. I'd like more soul, passion, and flaws to be apparent; I'd like everyone to enjoy us. Keep in mind this is just like a job posting in that I'm asking for the absolute ideal candidates but willing to accept the best that apply.
I'm looking for musicians that enjoy heavy metal, classical, blues, folk, opera, polka, rock n roll, jazz, country, techno, indie, punk rock, 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s, ambient, pseudo-ambient, ethnic, and big band. Ska lovers need not apply.
As for members the lead singer would be female, between the ages of 19 & 25, red hair, green eyes and have an amazing vocal range. Style wise a cross between operatic and electronic or at least willing to adapt with the bands direction. The ability to play drums, guitar, bass, horns, or keyboards is not required but would be an essential asset. A capable drummer is also required. She can be of any age but ideally under 35 with blonde hair and willingness to wear a bikini (only required for gigs and media interviews). Being able to play the basic punk beat is a requirement but if you're still learning the differences between 3/4 and 4/4 time we can work on that together. We are also looking for a bass player perhaps of the fretless persuasion. Sex of the bass player need not come in to play as I feel that either sex is well suited to this instrument. I would prefer long hair just for the fact that it looks cool when we have the fans blowing on stage and the heads are banging in unison. I play a mean guitar but unless I'm in the studio playing lead and rhythm at the same time just doesn't sound good so a great guitarist is a must. I don't have any strict requirements for this role other than they can keep up with me. If you can do that you pass. Keyboards! This one should be easy. Most keyboardists can play the classics by Bach or Beethoven so that shouldn't be a problem. We likely won't use a piano on stage on most occasions but in the studio it is very likely. If you can play the solo from Kissing the Shadows by Children of Bodom or Bach's Toccata & Fugue in D minor fluently then you need not worry.
I think that's it so if you feel you would fit in shoot me an email.
