Yeah, I've posted a couple of threads asking for anybody to verify his claims, and basically people either posted to say "dunno" or "what a load of crap, he's nuts!". But AFAIK none of the nay-sayers had any personal experience working with him or with the bands he worked for, so all in all it's still a mystery. He did join here and make one post in one of those threads, basically repeating the same stuff it says in that auction, and challenging any of us to be as famous or well-connected as him.

I had a Kahler tremolo installed on my Aria Pro II when I was 16. I saved up for months for that damn thing. And it was pretty cool I have to admit. I found some pretty creative ways to use it but more importantly, I learned that the over-use of something can be bad. I learned to use the thing tastefully.

Also, unless I really frammed on the thing, my bass always stayed in tune.

As a bassist in a cover band I I can't imagine what I would use it for now, but if I were still into doing originals, I'd consider getting one.

As for the add in the OP? Classic. Specifically bashing this entire website was hilarious. What could be better for business than alienating thousands of potential customers?
