Besides, it's the handyman's secret weapon.

| | | | Its duct tape. It has everything to do with everything. I even used it as a strap when I forgot mine once. |

| | | | It's all well and good having duct tape. However, I would imagine the first rule is always bring your bass to a gig.
I may be wrong though...

Duct tape is a waste of $$.

note the duct tape hanging from his tom mounts.
i've seen him live probably 6-7 times. always noticed the duct tape in that exact spot.
i guess thats something he's learned after doing 200+ shows a year for 18 years. |

But Im sure if you forget your bass, a simple solution can be made from duct or gaff tape. I dig the tone on this one. |

Its like with a "Q-Tip", the product is not actually called Q-Tips, they are cotton swabs, Q-Tip is the brand.
Same goes for:
Roller Blades (company) products are In Line Skates.
Kleenex (company) products are tissues
Band Aid (company) products are Adhesive Bandages |

I never brought any duct tape, nor gaffers tape, and never needed it. What am I missing, and what do you all feel you need it for? |

Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not....
