Moving Out?

Sign in to disble this ad
I was loading my bass rig into my car for a gig last weekend. One of the neighbors asked if I was moving out!

That's all.

I thought it was funny, but my wife doesn't. Thought I'd share with folks who might understand.

Hehe!! I liked it!

I haven't had that before - although it wouldn't surprise me if I did!

You should have seen the looks I got carrying my Steinberger in a the gigbag when the Sniper was going off in DC. In case you didn't know, the Steinberger bag looks similar to a rifle bag. Got rid of the bass, soon thereafter.

Hey Jive, I get that all the time now. I picked up a steinberger last November and of course it came in the gigbag.

A few times now people have asked if it was a gun, so I go to the music shop and ask about a hard case for it..... The guy suggests I go to a gunshop and look at gun cases.....

That's would be just asking for it huh? I really don't need the police performing a high risk takedown on me because someone mistook my bass for a gun.

When I was in Highschool I played in the Jazz Band. It always amazed me that I could carry around my case and never be questioned. I could have anything in there!!

One of the other guitar major's at my college had written on his case in big letters with duct tape "Dan's Machine Gun"
