my god it was such a memorable, heart-warming experience to hear lyrics that i wrote coming out of the mouths of people i'd never known before. makes me feel like everything i've put into writing songs and playing in a band is worth it.

i had a crazy lot of fun!

It is a great feeling. That happened at one of my band's gigs and I was like, "Woah! They know the words? Cool!"

Er.. is your band called "Armchair Critic"?

Because there is already a signed (and very talented) band called "Armchair Cynics" (which, FYI, is the correct expression, as opposed to 'critic').. you might have trouble keeping that name....

Hmm, Good bassline in that song.

oh, and keep rocking!
I cant wait until I get into a band, playing is the best feeling ever, and I've only done small High School Band gigs.

BTW, this may sound weird but...

Congrats. Having people know your lyrics is a big step forward.
I mean being in Singapore and all.

Sorry to bust the enthusiasm but when i listened to the video, the guitarist did not seem to be playing in time (yes i know its hard to sing and play while moving so much) and the bassist was kinda just... i duno... playing alot of notes that are not very tasteful.

Well, keep it up anyway! Its great to have people who sing your songs and i see that you guys can only become way better!

Cheers!

That's FANTASTIC!!! Congratulations!!! There is nothing...NOTHING!!!...on Earth like having people sing along with songs you wrote.

When I was with my all-female band, I had a blues jump that the fans really loved, and sang along with. I do miss that, a lot. My current band won't do the song. But people like it, and still ask about it.

May you get to have this wonderful feeling many, many more times!

I wasn't sure what you meant by "around here" until I saw the location hehe. My band The Black Orchid Rebellion are currently rehearsing on Alpha street, and are nearing ready-to-play-live status. A few tunes are up at http://blackorchidrebellion.com as well as our myspace - http://myspace.com/theblackorchidrebellion

And you?
