My funny 80's band video(with my Rickenbacker)

Sign in to disble this ad
So I finally got a hold of an old friend from a band I was in back in 1987. We had been searching for this video that his brother had done of us for a school project. We finally found it, if you need a hysterical 80's laugh this should do the trick!!
Seriousy this is too f'n funny! I still wish I had that Ric but the mullet I am glad is no longer..
Enjoy!

You're a brave man to share that. It almost made me miss the 80's for a minute.

What ever became of the band?

how about this 80s band?

http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=6yEL8U09cVE

We're still playing. But the singer didn't growup in the 80s (I'm not sure he ever will, which is okay!)

Hey thanks for looking! That band spilt up after about a year and a half or so, the keyboard player moved to CA in 1991 and is now a video game composer. The drummer and I moved to Los Angeles in 1997 and have been in a bunch of different bands out here. The singer is in Knoxville in a cover band. I'm now in an Irish Rock Band having some fun, funny how over time things change isn't it?
Rawk On!

That's some fine 80's cheese with a strong sappy overtone. They don't make 'em like that anymore!

Is that a silver Rickenbacker with black trim? Or is it white with black trim? Cool either way.

That's crazy, I saw him and video games live at the Blizzard convention in Anaheim this year. The show was pretty amazing.

Thanks for posting!
When I saw Longmeadow TV, I was wondering if it was Western Mass and sure enough next thing I see is downtown Springfield.

I agree that the bassline carried the song.

What kind of grade did your friend's brother get on the project? He did a nice job on the guitar solo - could have worked the girls in a little more, but I met my wife in the 80's so I'm biased.
