My new stage name

Hi,

In an Homage to Elvis, and my ability to produce large quantities of noxious gas, my 10yr old daughter has given me the stage name of: King Stink-a-lot.

None of you will bow, but you should tremble in fear, lest I rip one in your presence.

Ginger Fish, Nergal.... My stage name depends on who's saying it, its either Liam (My name) or POD (Shortened surname) and occasionally the bass player.

Liam

If you're constantly playing out of beat, you can name yourself "No Time"

My bandmates have taken to calling me "firebeard". Including onstage at gigs, so I guess that kinda counts.

My own fault for not shaving, I guess.

ha- I had a show once where i had the most brutal gas. Apparently one of my friends has a video of it- the club was packed and people kept trying to move away from my side of the stage... no joke...

Be careful what you say on stage. We were at a gig and I said all the good names have been taken like Flea,Sting and the Edge. So I said my name was what was left over, Tick. Now our lead singer intros me as Tick. It's been 6 or 7 years now.

Occasionally, when I introduce the band, I'll introduce our lead guitarist as Richie Blackmore, then with my hand to the side of my mouth, I'll tell the audience, "That's who he THINKS he is, but his real name is _____". Other times I'll intro the drummer as Neal Peart, etc. Good for a chuckle most times.

Stage name has been "broadcast" for a while now due my leather lungs and my beautifully loud rig. Or perhaps it's due to the loud jackets and pants I wear. Stage cloths is a blast the brighter the better.

Mine was "Moo" for a long time. I played drums with the same guitarist and bass player on and off from the mid 1970's to about 2003, the name didn't go away.

For some reason none of us remember where it came from.

So it is no coincidence that your band name is Foul Spirits.

My first name is Kevin and I played with a drummer who was a big fan of jazz and especially Thelonious Monk. I have a knack for learning songs quickly and the drummer started calling me Kevonious Monk, then he shortened it to KMONK. The name has stuck with me for 10 years now.

When the guitarist/singer and the drummer realized I never drank at gigs and they were pretty tipsy by 2nd set, I landed the nickname "Stone Cold", seeing as my name is very similar to Stone Cold Steve Austin of WWE fame.

I'm about to unleash my master plan that will change my nickname to Horse C*ck. I will let you know how that goes...
