| | Real Basses Have 5 Strings! | | Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Colorado | | | A Bass Guitar is masculine not feminine. Guitars and keyboards play pretty quaint melodies that are pretty and sweet. But a bass guitar has to be kept chained up in the basement to protect the women and children. We don't play sweet pretty melodies on our basses. When we play notes we rattle the floor. We don't dare lay chords because we might knock the planets out of alignment. We put the sub in subwoofer. We are the force that puts people on the dance floor. We tie the pretty melodic guitars and keyboards together with the drums. We make the band groove. But are basses are not feminine. We make the deep low masculine notes. |
