So, after listening to the local modern rock station for a while, I've discovered all the bands sound mostly the same. Crunchy, down tuned guitars, Basses that apparently only have a B string, whine, scream, whine singers, and loads of compression for everyone!
I've christened this genre "Butt Rock", and my challenge to you is to name your very own Butt Rock band! You can choose 2-3 of the following options:
Any odd number between 1 and 9
Breaking
Day(s) (the actual word or Tuesday, Wednesday, etc.)
Pain
Any Name
Any type of metal (ferrous or non-ferrous)
Crash
Sorrow
Dead
Restrain
Push
Trap
Fistula
Rusty
Agony
Time
Seethe
Anger
Crack
Wait
Carrot
Take
Blood
Memory
Use articles or modifiers as necessary.
Don't use "Sunday", this isn't emo.
No misspelling, this isn't nu-metal.
Feel free to use a word that isn't on the list, but feels right.
