At the time it was one of my favorites- now it's still a good album, and it always brings me back to that time- the winter of my freshman year of college. I can still hear some of those songs and imagine myself trudging up the hill through the slush.

|  | Registered User | | Join Date: Apr 2000 Location: Columbus, OH | | Without Nevermind, Nirvana would still be an average band playing to a comfortable regional following, and Cobain would still be writing mildly clever songs.
It was the remix of Steve Farmer that pushed the album and band over the top. I don't care much for Nirvana (can't you tell?  ) but it's a really well done album. It's like a sonic smorgasbord.

Novosellic (its probably not written like that) had some great basslines like lounge act and come as you are
