I understand the caution around fire, and the avoidance of high temps, but why the sad face?

I think the "sad face" is supposed to be a child. Possibly a baby with a weird haircut.

Not photochopped...scout's honor!

It's from a website dedicated to the climbing/caving rope devices. My personal favorite is "don't catch arrows or else your fingers will get warm".
