That's as far as I need to read, just tell me where to audition, and I'll be there doing my thing.
My thing is playing 32nd notes down to low B with my "musician's best friend" music stand,
which helps me since I'm currently in 5 bands and forget the music for each of them.

That ad is a gift from the gods of comedy. Thank you gods of comedy!

BTW, what is a "seasoned bass player" and what are they seasoned with? Some sort of dry rub?

Dunno what it is, 'zackly, but something about the syntax in that ad reminds me of all those emails I keep getting about my dead relatives in faraway countries leaving me 80B euros (or something like that)... It can't be taken at face value. Hmn...

Aha! It's a cypher. Gotta break the code. So whole note and stand are code words for...um...

We are not just fooling around, this is show business,we play rare popular tunes that people want to hear without music stands.
This confuses me. At our shows, dozens of people in the audience show up with music stands to hear popular tunes - popular tunes that people want to hear with music stands.
