"I have for sale one Fender Precision Bass. I bought it 3 years ago from Music Go Round because it sure looked easier to play than guitar. Turns out it's not."

Beautiful! If it wasn't so long I would use that for my sig!

I'd buy it for $200 if I was in the area Oo Pretty good deal for an unused MIM P Bass. (especially when you want a P Bass)

Actually from reading most threads in TB, you would think that there is no need to learn how to play - just as long as you get the right bass, amp and then the right effect, you are set!

So there are like 95% of threads asking about what gear I should buy to be able to play like this and maybe 1 or 2% asking about how you should practice to be able to play like that!! ??

The forums for gear should have a sticky saying - just get a good teacher and practice!!

^ pretty much the reaction my step son had 2 years ago when he absolutely HAD to have a guitar. So I got him one. Guess I should have learned from the previous year and the keyboard incident. Same thing. " You mean I can't just plug it in turn it all the way up, and be like Eddie Van Halen ???, you mean I have to learn stuff, AND PRACTICE ????? LOL some peoples kids.
