Good idea. Being crotchety is more of a state of mind anyway. If you can be a true curmudgeon at age 25, you've got the gift...

I'm 51 and when I was growing up, we didn't have all the high tech stuff available today. AAMOF, we used to just beat rocks against our heads to lay down the groove....and we were thankful for those rocks!

Somebody give me a # 'cuz I've got to be in bed by 10.

F%$*in' fine then, I am older so I guess I better get a number. After a gig, I can hardly walk because of the ruptures on my achilles tendons..

But yea. After a half hour set, I can barely stand, my arthritis hurts so bad.

I'm 51. Having just passed my 25th wedding anniversary, living with this woman has taken a lot of the edge off my bastard-like traits.... However when it comes to music I can be pretty damn persnickety, especially when it comes to my tone.. Has a lot to do with how I feel the music and the resulting groove...

Wink A Natural...

There are so few things I'm more inherently qualified to join!

58...characterized variably as a bastard by:

My wife,
My kids,
My employees,
My neighbors.
Other drivers,
but not my dog.

I'm a tail-gater convinced that there is an international network of driving idiots that coordinates the actions of its members to always ensure there is someone who is clueless about where they are going right in front of me at all times.

I'm crabby that I can't barely hear above 6KHz due to my garage band days (Hendrix, Cream, Yardbirds covers at 120dBA).

My redeeming social value: member of Talkbass that can at least hear BELOW 6 Khz and an owner of a Warwick 5 string Corvette $$ with Sadowsky flats.

Do I get a number?

HUH?

Since the young cats started their "TB'rs under 21" thread I thought this thread could use a little:

Since our illustrious leader has chosen not to assign numbers (and has forgotten about starting this thread due to his advanced age) I will start at the beginning and assign them myself.Thank you and get the hell outa my yard!
