Any of you old basstards have any recommendations for straps that are easy on the shoulders/neck/back/etc.? Only 35 but spent most of it wrecking myself as best I can with physical labor. I don't have time to go down to the park and do tai chi like you silverbacks. Now get back up to the speed limit!
Thanks.

I use the "Y" strap by Michele Morin.
It hooks over both shoulders, which evenly distributes the weight of the bass. Let's me wear a bass for hours with no stress. I've used it for many years - can't think of how I could live without it. Before I endured pain from overburdening one shoulder. No more! Check it out... http://pages.infinit.net/ystrap/1234/anglais/M1-a.html |

Thanks. | I'm only 47 but back in the 70's when P basses weighed over 50 lbs. we didn't need no fancy straps. We used shoe laces or old E strings. Maybe you should take up ukelele, I hear they are pretty light. Or maybe just play that video game with the plastic guitars and tweet your high scores out hourly to all your intraweb pals on one of them smartalec phone jobies.
And what's with some guy on here in his 50's talkin' bout going to bed at 9 PM. Gig ended at 2 this morn and I'M still up! You can sleep when you're dead, I got more important stuff to do...............................HEY YOU KIDS!, GET THE %$#@ OFF MY LAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
