Anyone bring any odd items to gigs?
I bring a pair of nail clippers because I cut my right forefinger's tip off the nail grows past the skin in parts. So I gotta clip the sucker to prevent weird little clicks while I play.

I also take one of those socket testers that shows LEDs for open or missing grounds, and reversed hot and neutral poles. I will never play if it shows anything other than perfect.

Of course you porkchop players don't get real blisters. |

| | | | Nail clippers too for right hand nails (I'm left handed), but also for this little 'skin nodule' (not a wart) that keeps growing back on my right hand pinky's pad, right where the string goes across it. It's like having a splinter and I chew it out with the fingernail clipper when it gets to uncomfortable.
Fingernail file for left hand nails.
A little piece of open grain sandpaper for the nails on the picking hand. Sometimes I can smooth and round the edges off better so there's no 'click.'
A pump bottle of that waterless handwash gel.
Mechanical pencil.
