Don't know where to put this. I wasn't there but had a gig on the edge of this weather. Prayers for everybody.

Man that looked awful. The bass player of the performing band was missing according to the report.

Wow. My prayers are with everybody at that festival, be it performer or spectator.

Judging by the pic put up by the edmonton journal and my knowledge of living in Indiana my whole life...that was, most definitely, a tornado..or at the least what they call 'tornadic activity'.

Sometimes the phrase "Holy S***" just isn't enough.

Apparently Kevin Costner's band was involved.

More info from TMZ

From what I've read it sounds like it was a gust front or possibly a micro burst.

OMG! I hope they are all alright, and condolences out to the family of the one killed. I saw Billy Currington awhile back, in concert and talked with the guitarist (I believe he is the one they spoke with in article). And I got the towel the bass player used (but it was signed by the guitardist.). Did they find the bass player??

Alex Stevens credits his bass with saving him. Yet another good reason to play bass.
