I've actually (kinda) done this.

First year at university. My housemate's bedroom was right above the kitchen and it was the first night together for him and his new gf.

Soooooooo ... as a little surprise to add to the mood, a few other people in the house and I rolled my Trace 4x10 combo into the kitchen and lifted it onto the top of the fridge with the speakers pointed at the ceiling. Then with a borrowed wah pedal, lots of volume and the cheesiest slap line I could think of ....

He thought it was hilarious, she didn't talk to me for about a week. That riff still gets a cheer if any of my uni mates are at a gig.
