And to answer whoever asked me if I did "suck" at the time when I was in the band.. I think I did say that I had just started out so yeah I wasn't very good... I did not cry or sulk for days... I was pissed for the moment and soon got over it.. Oh and Sorry about the "old guy" comment you guys... 40 isn't old... but it is older than me..... |

Now that I think back to some of the smiles and funny snickers behind my back when I first played bass I cringe with embarassment - I was quite bad. I was happily playing my own thing, and it was really only after the first year or so of poor playing that I realised that I was crap, and that was when I started to practice more, listen more, and play better. I am by no means a great player now, but I am good enough to impress visiting bassists that come to play with us. |
