I will have to dig up older than this but this one is from 1982.
My '76 Rick 4001 (no longer have it) and I believe my amp back then was a Peavy Mark III head and 2x15 cab.
You can see my MOOG Taurus II Head off to the left as well!

This was from my HS yearbook, circa 1982. It was during the 50's day talent show, and this is the rhythm section from the showchoir. It was NOT my bass, sadly. And even sadder: I have no idea what happened to that bass.

CTBass& Birdsong--that's an Acoustic 360 you're playing through in the photos, right?

What a great amp.

Circa 1991, Morty's on Kearny in San Francisco

with 1986 Japanese Fender Jazz Bass Special. My first band, Obscurity - "latin jazz/metal fusion".

And here's another, which shows my amp GK800RB and Acoustic inverted 18" cab - from 1992. That's interesting - I'm wearing the same shirt.

This was taken in 1987 or '88. I call it the "Yellow Sport Jacket" Era.

The only photos I have of me playing bass are in my Junior High School year book when I played in the orchestra. You guys won't catch me scanning those and posting them. Ever. That was 1975.

I couldn't help but to notice the piano player in your photo. It made me curious enough to check your public profile. Hope you don't mind me quoting it here.

"Gigs, Bands, & Ensembles:
El Haragan y Compania, Joan Sebastian (recordings only - fretless 5-string, but NOT with the live band). **Also, in the past, recordings/TV/live with Willie Bobo, The Don Ellis Orchestra, Gabor Szabo, Bobby Hutcherson, John Klemmer, Sonny Simmons, Charlie Musselwhite, Johnny Mathis, Tom Jones, Al Wilson, O.C. Smith, Bobby Vinton, Freda Payne, Doug Kershaw, Don Ho, the Beach Boys, Ray Price, Ned Doheny, Roy Buchanan, Albert Hammond, the Osmonds, David Cassidy, etc."

Dang!
