OMFG Funny craigslist ad

Sign in to disble this ad
http://atlanta.craigslist.org/muc/661180415.html

Has to be one of the funniest adds I've seen in a while, lol

EDIT: (in case it is removed from Craigslist)

Here is the quote of the ad:

the best bassist ever (basstown)

hello. i am the best bassist who ever played the bass. get it? i love bassin' it up with any other bass players so you can get schooled properly by my bass talents. who i am lookin for is 2-3 other bass players to get together and play the basses for a few hours a week. i am a professional. please no first time bass players. i have a professional attitude and expect the same from you. i have professional gear and am looking for more professional gear. i really wanna do this right. bring over your basses and amps to my house of bass. lets bass until we get sick. i will not stop until someone throws-up. i am serious. lets do this! influences : thunder, trucks, planes, fog horns, old man river, bass (the fish), bass (the instrument), bass (the shoes), bass (the beer). I am an honest man--if you play the bass better than i do, you can have my house and everything in it (i have a dog). i will live outside and build a shrine to give thanks to god for creating such a bassist. i will have service every sunday for those who might want to stop by and give thanks.

I'd take him.. we'll do a one-on-one "bass off".. and the prize for me winning would be for him to NEVER, ever again post such a deluded ad on the web as long as he lives... throwing up is not permitted either!

"Devil went down to Georgia..." lol.

That's hilarious. It was probably posted by someone who hates him and is mocking him though...

Well, I guess if you are the best player ever it must be hard to find people to play with.

The only way to settle this is someone from Basstown, Atlanta needs to jam with him and either throw up or win a house.

Then post results on TB...the vomit or the house.

BTW...is he hanging out in the men's locker room?

I somehow think that this was put up in spite by someone else. Surely a guy with that many strings must be a TBer too

I love the "I have a dog" comment after offering everything in his house.

That ad cracks me up.

Well, I'm off to bass until I throw up.

I have to quote this before it dissappears. LOL I think someone was trying to be funny and it may not be the man in the picture. Either that or he is the bass version of Yngwie...

"hello. i am the best bassist who ever played the bass. get it? i love bassin' it up with any other bass players so you can get schooled properly by my bass talents. who i am lookin for is 2-3 other bass players to get together and play the basses for a few hours a week. i am a professional. please no first time bass players. i have a professional attitude and expect the same from you. i have professional gear and am looking for more professional gear. i really wanna do this right. bring over your basses and amps to my house of bass. lets bass until we get sick. i will not stop until someone throws-up. i am serious. lets do this! influences : thunder, trucks, planes, fog horns, old man river, bass (the fish), bass (the instrument), bass (the shoes), bass (the beer).
