In church this morning. Got a call yesterday from the usual bass player saying guitarist wasn't here today, and that he'd have to play guitar. He asked if I'd be able to sightread the scores and I thought I'd give it a shot.
Never played in any worship groups before but it was a great sound. Just running the bass through a Behringer (yeah, yeah, shock horror) DI into the mixing desk. Man did that bass growl.
For the first time ever, even if it is the only time, I was happy just to listen to myself playing.
