Orange Whip?

Sign in to disble this ad
Every night while we are playing in my friends garage the icecream man drives by playing that god awful muzak. My friend (the guitar player) hollers out "anyone want an orange whip?" And I always say yes. He never gets me one (the bass$%^) So last week my wife brought a pitcher of frozen vodka creamsickle drinks down to the garage. They were greatly appreciated by all....especially the guitar player.

What kind of inhuman monster taunts a man w/an offer of an orange whip & then doesn't deliver? I say whip the dog w/an actual orange-colored bullwhip. Then ask him, 'orange whip'?

I wish we had ice cream trucks around here. They're a rare sight. God awful that Muzak may be, nothing turns grown men into giggling 5 year olds faster....well, in my case anyway...

I have found that ice cream treats are much more economical when purchased in quantity at the mass merchant stores.

....holy crap. That means I'm grown up, doesn't it?

Where's Templeton? Way out in the Berkshires or something? I've never heard of it.

We have two ice cream trucks that make the rounds in my nieghborhood here in southern New Jersey. One produces a standard pip-pop type tune interspersed with a lady's voice saying "Hello!" (annoys the h*** out of my husband; he works nights and the voice is just the right tone to wake him up the two or three times a day the truck comes around.) Second one started up this year, and the sound it plays is "The Mexican Hat Dance Song"...better known as "La Cucaracha" or "THe Cockroach"... I noticed that they'd changed the song to something less...questionable...last week. SOmeone should have done some research before using that tune....

I used to live in S> Jersey and we had an ice cream man that always came by around dinner time and the kids would wanna stop eating dinner to go get ice cream. Ticked me off to no end. So one night I wentout and chased the guy off screaming how he was ruining my dinner hour. The neighbors thought I had gone insane.

Thang Fish
Can I steal that line for a sig?

If I were an ice cream man, I'd have Portrait Of Tracy as my tune.

The ice cream man in my neighborhood looks like he's either selling weed(He's gotta be stoned to put up w/the music)or Al-Qaeda*. Or both...

*No offense to any Al-Qaeda, stoned or not.

You had - at least temporarily. You're no fun... <I'm sure you're quite nice most of the time, though...>
