My beagle thinks a bass case makes a great soft place to lay any opportunity he gets ...

Believe it or not, I used to keep my bass in mine. It got to be too much hassle to keep it there, so I got a wall mount. I'd use it if I ever took the bass out of the house.

Hi.

Any bass, guitar or any other instrument case left open will soon be a new bed for my "inherited" cat. Also rat-fur covered cabs will become scratching posts and be covered with cat-fur.

Somehow it's rather cozy in there, but if the lid closes accidentally, I wouldn't want to be around .

Regards
Sam

It's not so much the soft fuzzy he likes... He just knows that if he's in the case, you can't pack up the bass and leave him.

well ever since i got my new bass (a Dean Metalman ML) which is massive, i cant fit it into my old fender case, so the case now rests in the corner, holding old pieces of junk ive collected; ie old strings, tabs, sheet music, some cords... etc, its pretty much just another thing for my cats to attack now...

Car peed? that I gotta see

My cat things cases are fair game for sleeping...... and the tops of my amps too. Used one case as a table to do a puzzle on (sitting on the floor)..... other than they typical bass type stuff holder strings.......

I put my cases in the basement, and use a 3 unit floorstand for the axes I don't use at the time, and I have a small neat floorstand for the axe I am working with at the moment.

I only have one bass, but one strat and an acoustic guit. as well.

On the reverse, I didn't have a case for one of my basses, but I had this '62 Olds 98 with a huge rear window deck that suited the bass just fine.

I stack mine in the corners to improve the acoustics of my studios mixing space.

+1 Like Anderbass I Often use 'em to stand behind my rig when we play in front of glass-which is far more often these days :-( - to give a bit of 'mass' to the rear of my amp/cab
