so I was at practice the other day and we were really into things. The song was going great, I was locked into the drums perfect, guitarist was doing his thing, the singer was there for once. Things were in key.
Me and the guitarist were jammin. Both moving to the music, He was headbanging with his guitar at his knees I was pulsing with the drum beats. We hit the final note of the song I mute my strings the guitarist plays his final riff with the drumer then I smacked myself in the forhead with my bass... seemed like a good idea at the time... All I can think of as I'm going dow was "Tim take this" I half handed, half threw my bass at him then woke up a few minutes later by the singer nudging me with his foot.
"Speak, get your @$$ up we need to run through the song again."

That's too funny. My old guitarist/good friend got into a song a bit too much several years ago and fell off the stage... twice! LOL.
So long as you lived to tell, brother.

/snip/. | Didn't you mention in another thread that you take anti-psychotics? I respectfully suggest that you get your levels re-evaluated before you do yourself permanent harm.

Kidding, but I'm glad you're feeling better.

I had recently acquired a Gibson EB-2D. Man that bass was sweet. We were having an absolute blast playin' hard and drinkin' a lot of beer. At some point during the drunken debauchery that ensued I jumped from the stage onto a soda machine that was next to the stage. I thought it was cool to be dancin' around on top of that drink machine right up to that last step into space. Down I went. Landed on my butt and thankfully with no damage to the Gibson. The crowd went wild!

Plus, if you don't smash yourself in the head in practice, how will you know how much force to use at a show?

My band plays in a small basement, and i have more room than the singer + Guitarist... Cause if i don't ima end up tripping on soemthing and screwing **** up lol. I CAN'T not move around lol.. If i can play a song and headbang at the same time.. I will, always |
