Our first gig is tomorrow

Just found out last night that our first gig is tomorrow! A last-minute fill-in. We are playing a farmers market on a Saturday afternoon - perfect for us. Hell, we have a song called "Farmers Market".

I am freaking out. But in a good way. We have had a total of four (4) rehearsals together.

Just had to share.

p.s. It pays a hundred dollars. That's 25 smackers a man!

That's a lot of zuccini bro. The first gig is equal to about 20 rehearsals as far as hard wiring those songs in yer brain.

Congratulations! You will be earning $25 per person MORE than most of us earned at our first gigs!

Thank you good night!!!

Just a quick follow-up. The gig went well, especially given that it would have been our 6th rehearsal. Even though one band member needed to be walked through each song just before we could play it, most parts of most songs were pretty tight, and a couple of songs were great. The crowd was happy. Band is pumped. I'm going to start a seperate thread in the amps section about that aspect.

Thanks for the support, people!

Congrats!

Did you get any free food? We always get free food when we play farmers' markets. Bread, jam, corn, honey, etc.
