Hi, i`m here to tell a history that happened with me a few months ago.

I'm studying bass with a kinda well known guy in the area, he's called Paulinho Carvalho. He got famous for being the main bassist of some of the greatest albuns of the "Clube da esquina" movement (milton nascimento, lô borges, are some of the most influencial if you want to look in the youtube).

And i'm diehard fanboy of Foo Fighters. They where in Brazil last year. The show was in Sao Paulo and i couldn't go, was too expensive (travel+was a festival). So, i come to the class a few days after, kinda sad about the show that i missed. Just when i said the name of the band and the bassist my teacher casually said:

"oh, the guy from foo fighters? he was here in Belo Horizonte! he came to kinda meet me. Funny guy, he bring me all the cd's, and some demos, got my email. Too bad i don't know a single song of foo fighters."

i've got speechless.

And thats how i discovered that Nate Mendel are a fanboy of my teacher.
