PDX Jam Session

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey Y'all,

Just wanted to give a heads up to PDX musicians that there is a nasty Funk & RnB jam session happening every wednesday, generally at the Calabash (SW 2nd & Taylor) but this week only at the Someday Lounge (Davis & Fifth). Seriously nasty players show up, and there's usually an opportunity to step up and do some playing. The house bassist is Errick Lewis (has toured with Erykah Badu and Jay-Z), and its worth showing up just to hear him play. The normal admission price is free, but today I think it might be 3 bucks, unless you wear your pajamas, in which case its free.

I'll be sitting in on keys, and hopefully playing a little bass too. Stop by and say hi.

-Dom

I'll have to catch this sometime soon. Tonights out, but sounds good and I have been looking for somewhere new in the area.
