peavey max bass pre amp?

I may have a chance to get a godfather deal on a Peavey max bass preamp. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with it. It has alot of neat do dads on it. My other option is the Tech 21 RBI.

It's a great preamp, but this post belongs in the amps forum. If you do a search within the Amps forum, you'll find gushing reviews from Ebozz, myself, and many others.

Had the Max pre for a few years. Good preamp. Nice, clean solid state channel, warm tube channel that can get crunchy and all the features you will need from a preamp. It even has a crossover for biamping.

Good quality, good sounds, many features. Recommended.
