That's rule #3, haven't you heard?

1. No stepping/standing in water while playing an 'electric' guitar.
2. Never play outdoors during lightening storms.
3. Never play your electric guitar in a bathtub filled with water.

First rule of not playing your guitar in the bathtub full of water is you don't talk about playing your guitar in a bathtub full of water.

I wish someone on this site had a sense of humor. The serious, analytical responses get to be a bit of a bore sometimes.

Of course, the only rule more vital to your continued existence is: "Never mention the 'M' word in Jeff Berlin's presence."

Hey, it's OK to play an electric bass while standing/sitting in a tub of water, or in the rain, etc., so long as the bass is not plugged in.....

I thought there was a rule about not playing your guitar in the bathtub full of water for at least 2 hours after you have eaten ???
