Was making the rounds today since im off from work, trying out some MM style basses as I am looking to get one in the future. Played a Sterling SB14, Ibanez ATK, and then decided to try a Schecter Raiden special at Guitar Center just for fun.....until I sat down and saw what is pictured in the attachment.
(this is the part where you look at the picture!!)
Yup, I know it's hard to see since I took the pic with my phone, but the fretboard was almost completely detached from the neck at the 1st-5th fret markers. Funny part is, the bass didn't play too bad considering the damage lol. It's a shame, I liked it and the 5'er wasn't coming undone so at least I got to play one in decent shape. It's making me think twice about buying the Schecter though.
So what's some of the funniest damage you've seen done to a bass that is sitting in a store for sale? Pictures aren't necessary, but it definitely helps!

**PS - Mad love for Flea, but the dude is a rough looker. This recent picture of him on the far right should back up my statement
