Drummers: All the drummers I work with, except for two older guys who do it for a living, are total flakes (late for practice, leave early, and sometimes don't even show up), they are distracted with phone calls from their girlfriends etc, and are always playing loud (no sensitivity to the dynamics of the song).
Keyboardists: Again, this doesn't apply to the one professional pianist I work with, but all the others are very bossy, they are always turning themselves up with no regard to the blending of all the instruments, and they are very outgoing.
Guitar: Very varied in my experience. Some are sensitive to everyone else and play off of what the other musicians are doing, some are complete control freaks and take the term "lead guitarist" too literally.
Others: what someone else on this thread said about sax player always wanting to be the center of attention has always been true in my experience. However, trumpeters have been the complete opposite. The percussionists I have worked with have always been very musical, sensitive, and really nice guys.
