So, this isn't really bass related, but I thought I'd share anyway.
My band (I play keys for) got the opportunity to play with one of our musical heros, Brent Mason. He came into town this weekend to do a jazz/fusion show at a local club with us. He is mostly known for his country recordings, but the cat is a jazz monster. Needless to say it was pretty humbling to share the stage with him. As a side note, he is one of the nicest, most down to earth guys you could ever meet. The whole night was amazing.
I snapped a few shots of my rig and had some friends there taking pics. We also multitracked and did an HD video. I'll try to get some clips on youtube at some point.
