Played my 2nd gig yesterday...

It went really good. There was supposed to be 4 bands going but only us and another band showed up, so I thought it was going to be pretty bad. But we played and the other band liked us so they invited us to play another gig in August. They're guessing there's going to be 100 people there, which wouldn't be bad for being my 3rd gig

Nice 1 I hope it goes well for you in august. I played my 1st gig the other week, just a few typical rock songs in a pub (the likes of ac/dc, black sabbath, judas priest) but people really got into it and there was no booing even though i made a few mistakes cos i was so damn nervous!!

All of those hours and hours of practice and having my fingers bleed and running up and down boring scales for days on end... well it was all worth it just to hear people clap at the end of each song!

Thanks, Congrats on you first gig, Sabbath seems like a good choice to play at shows, thats what we played and people liked it a lot. I was nervous too when I played, my legs were shaking pretty bad, but you're right when people clap it's makes it all worth it.

Thanks, I'm hoping for more, preferably paying ones, but right now I'm happy just getting people to watch me play.
