Played an Open Mic last night

we are a metal band and played and decided to show up to an open mic last night. we played fifth with all bands before us being blues bands.

all very good music and fun to watch. we got up there and played our 3 songs and the audience (all blues guys) asked us to play one more. so we busted out our cover of TNT and the house band really dug that.

fun but odd night.

I love a good open mic story. You just never know what you're going to get and the crazy act you would never go to see at their own show gets a rousing reception every time.
