I just got in from a 3 hour pub/bar covers show. I spent time with my close friends (bandmates), got to play bass for 3 hours in front of an audience and I got paid a pocketful of cash for my troubles! How good is that? |

| | Yeah, I've got the moves like Jagger. | | Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: G.R. MI | | The suck factor is indeed quite low for the gigging bassist!

But, yeah, bar gigs are OK, too! |

We're playing a new venue tomorrow night and I have to admit that I'm getting pretty excited about it.

I'm less keen on the hauling to and fro part, epecially the fro part.

A professional chef's banquet. Two 45 minute sets plus all the food we wanted. Plus we got paid what we would normally get for a 4 set bar gig! |

I don't imagine a dull stick would feel any better.
