Not that I'm aware of. Are you thinking of the Scottish percussionist Evelyn Glennie?

I remember reading something about a deaf violinst years ago, maybe on 2xbasslist. Might have been Liz Varlow, who Google tells me was a member of the LSO in the late 90s?
