I love my wife, and she treats me like a king, but this evening was a mess. I just got done practicing on my bass, when she decided to surprise me with dinner. She was bringing it on a tray, when all of the sudden, the pistachio pudding went sliding off and splattered all over the floor. At first it was funny, until I looked over and saw it all over my bass and amp.
It is a lot harder than you think to get pudding off your bass, and even harder off a fender amp with a grill.
If you ever go to see a blues band, and the bass player smells like pistachio, it's probably me.

The easyest way might be just replacing the grill. Its the greyish one that kind of looks like what ampeg covers the grills with right? and for the bass get some good guitar polish. I like lizard spit guitar polish. It doesnt leave a residue like other polishes I tryed and It doesnt let dust stick to your bass. And over time it will even take off small scratches |

Also can't you take the grill off the amp and just hose it down? |

Holy cow, you have one great wife. I hope you appreciate that. Forget about the spilled pudding. Take care of that wife.
p.s Pistachio pudding is almost as good as a fine Jazz bass.
p.p.s You'd better post an .mp3 of Pistachio Blues.

I think Pistachio Blues will be as popular as crossroads. We're on to something here.

She seems to be one of the finer ladies out there, serving you food and such, I am lucky to live with a sweetie like that as well, guess that's why I never have won a game or a lottery in my life ...
