Last night my band played at a biker bar in Bettendorf Iowa named Purgatory.It was a good crowd for a Friday and we rocked them pretty well.We've been playing some Texas roadhouse blues lately with some songs by Mike Morgan.He's a great guitar player and he plays his stuff different than us but his songs work real well for the Texas boogie stuff we do.It was a good gig.It just seems ironic to be playing blues in Purgatory on good Friday but it was fun. |
