The original tune was pretty cool. On the Filter tune you gotta tell the 2nd guitar player NOT to play the riff unison with you on the verse, it sounds like crap. That part should be bass doing the riff alone and the guitar(s) doing the feedback thing, IMO.

Diggin' the pickguard you got too.

And if it's what I think it is, a single J pickup, then it makes it even more bad@$$.

I'm gonna play along:

Probably 99,99% of you can't understand a word she is singing but it doesn't matter - you're all just listening if my playing is good (be merciful!) and checking out gear anyway.

edit: if you are wondering the size of the stage - amount of people listening, we were the 2nd band of a festifall and a lot of people were on their way still

Nothing too musically new here, just some good vibes, decent performances, and, on occasion, pretty people. Enjoy & comment as you will.

I'll play too

houseluna (indie/electronic/dance):
(sorry for the bad sound quality--low mic quality on the camcorder)

http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=402903463741 - Keep Moving

http://www.facebook.com/houseluna?v=...v=400539173741 - Hurricane

The Uncool (classic rock tomfoolery):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORArv60I3WQ - Black Night (cover)
I'm off to the side, so I'm hardly in this one

Née Née (pop):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ahSZX79o1I - Favorite Meal

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bK1P2KuWd8E - Birthday Suit (this song won some kind of award before I joined the band--couldn't tell you what award it was.)

Should be able to view this without logging into FB.

This is one of the first clips done for our promo, done in it's entirety (will be broken down to short clips, once the other songs are edited).

I think musically, you did a great job on that one mate! To be honest though, I've never been convinced by a female singer doing Zeppelin. Shes obviously a good singer and all, its just that to my ears, Zep sound wrong without a male vocal. My video should be pretty good at demonstrating that I'm fine with females in music (we've got two of them). Its just a weird personal thing with Led Zeppelin! lol

I'll play too! Not a great video, but its quite recent. We played a lot tighter the next night and my vocals were better, but as is the way with these things, its never recorded when things go right!

As always, feedback welcome.

I hear where you're coming from. I've heard so many lousy male renditions of Zeppelin tunes, I'm happy if the singer can hit Plant's high notes, regardless of gender.

This is also true! I'd rather hear the version you guys played than most of the cover versions I've heard in bars and clubs, but hearing one of the not-to-common guys who CAN do it is just something special for me.
