Not really digging the singer. Very limited range, stiff, rudimentary, phrasing, and that intro is way too long for pop. That's a whole lot of changes going by for nothing before this frail little voice comes in. I certainly hear a thoughtful song writing process going on, as well as playing that gets the job done well enough, I just don't think the juice is in there right now. The hardest thing to do when writing in a band situation is to be able to step back and REALLY listen to all the parts and how they fit. Where are the dynamics going? Is there a conscious direction being achieved, even if that direction is no direction at all?

And since you threw yourself out there under the bus with this, I have to ask: what's with the name?

i really dug it....it's good to see the young kids bringing back the lo-fi sound.....simple driving d-rock with pop sensibility.....you kind of sound like an upbeat my bloody valentine or maybe more like the amps meet veruca salt.....keep it up kid

and judging from the myspace links i take it you are stewart (stew).....how do you like russia?

I would defitnitely push the vocals up, it drives me crazy when I can't hear them properly.
Intonation and timing is a little off at times on the vocals. (mainly Something About K)

The music is simple, but seems well thought out (not a huge fan of punk myself).
Could do with some better mastering (the sound can get thin).

One last thing, how old are you?

Keep it up.

The music itself isn't bad. The tempo of the two songs are a little slow. Though I'm really not diggin' the singer. As far as the instruments, I say it needs more bass, but that's just me. Personally I usually don't listen to any alternative rock. So it's a somewhat bias opinion. Though the songs themselves aren't bad for anybody thats a fan of alternative/punk.

i think you guys have good ideas. some of the tones sound a little dated to me on the first song, like the chorus on the guitar, the ping-y snare. on "kiss goodbye," you guys have this kind of cool droney stoner rock thing going that's pretty cool. sorta sonic youth-esque. on "something about k," your singer sounds like she's just not a frontperson. her lack of energy doesn't match up with the energy of the instruments and it gets boring to me. the melody and lyrics are there enough, but i guess i just don't believe her. like she's not communicating on an emotional level like the greats do. i'd steer more towards the "kiss goodbye" sound if i were you. it feels WAY more natural to my ears. the other feels a lot more forced. especially from your singer. with a little work, you guys could have some really cool interesting songs that not many people sound like these days

Why is this in the humor section?

As music, I rather liked it. But as comedy it falls short...
