im looking to buy this so called fender bass...all i have is the picture.

Can anyone shed some light on the subject and help me out.

It could be a Bullet bass but the headstock looks wrong. Also the picture's been edited to show something resembling strings.

fake or not, are you looking to buy from that pic alone? If so, I'm not sure why....and, I'd move on.

It does look like a Bullet bass though.

The pick up position is different on a Bullet Bass, the pick up is close to end of the pickguard on the bridge side.



Also the pickguard on that bass doesn't look right, look at the neck pocket.

Not to mention the placement of the tuners on the headstock make no sense whatsoever. You see four tuners but only three tuning posts

The decal on the headstock doesn't look right either. Too big.

It's a "real" fake one. If you were a backing bassist for Alvin and Chipmunks, it'd be perfect.
