Boy do I feeeeel goood. Mmhmm. Yup. And I've scribbled about two pages of poetry I can't read. But it's good. I'm sure of it.
Almost packed for the Detroit trip, and I'm now exploring the concept of zero. Yup. Zero.
And planning for an absolutely awesome Thursday night with PA and Mr. Clement.

I've informed my band mates that I want to attempt "The Georgia Satellites' " classic, 'Keep Your Hands to Yourself". |

That is a great song. |

Now that I'm much more comfortable with the narrower 5 string spacing I've been looking at picking up another Lyte.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Brooklyn and Hudson Valley | | as for me, just finished a stretch of three practices in four days with three different groups. In reverse order, today with the Vague Assurances - although we're on a little bit of a break now. Looking to go back into the studio in August to follow up our 9-song EP with a full-length CD.
Yesterday, practice with the yet unnamed blues/oldies project, which I predict will be a popular local bar band within about 6 months. It's two guitars plus me on bass. They want me to play mandolin on some songs, and on those one of the guitarists takes over on bass. OK with me.
Thursday was kind of an audition on upright with a very interesting jazz/rock fusion group doing all originals. Looks like I did OK. They have a female singer but are just working on the instruments for now. It's challenging musically but I think it's going to be very cool if it works out.

Um.....maybe you just answered your own question? Break. Unnamed (how can I find you???). And audition. Sorta.
I'm pretty sure Mrs. C3 isn't going to be happy if I just show up knocking on the door of the spare bedroom as though I live there already.
