I got this gig with a cover band. Played to about 50 people, supposedly to be all fans.
When show was over, promoter says we have to pay up to cover his share.
Band leader says his share was covered up to the 10th fan. That he should be paying the band for the 40 fans.
Blabla arguing with that guy.
Promoter didn't want to pay up, saying he didn't see 50 people only 9.
Promoters are so full of bs.
At the end, this guy didn't pay, and took off with the proceedings of 40 fans |

Also, it's good to have your own person at the door counting heads. Preferably someone credible.  |
