My band got chosen for the St. Louis Rock and Roll Marathon. Has anybody done this event in their city and if so what can be expected? I'm out of breath just thinking about it!

We played the San Antonio RnR Marathon last year and loved it and were asked to come back this year. We had to be in place and ready to play by 6am-ish as I recall. The Marathon supplied the sound system and sound techs. The guys that ran our sound just came off of the road with George Strait. We played the entire marathon, 3+ hours without a break. I didn't even realize that we had enough music. It was great fun, the band was really into it and the runners really appreciated it. We were even on television! There were bands that played the entire event and those that played half. I don't know how they determined who played what. You will enjoy it!
