It's a clip from Orgazmo (a movie by Trey Parker and Matt Stone of South Park fame) which I am made to think of every time I see someone respond "Geddy Lee" as the best bass player ever in a thread. It honestly cracks me up everytime as I imagine people sounding like this when they post it. And everytime I pop this movie into my DVD player I'm reminded of beloved Talkbass.
I love Geddy and his playing and I am a big Rush fan, but I just thought it was funny that I think of this clip whenever I see some of these posts. Hopefully you'll get a laugh out of it too, and think of this clip next time you see a "Best Bass Player" thread.
It's just like I think of the Drum Solo of Life scene in the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie whenever someone raves about Neil Peart.
